How does Sculptra work?

Renuva is a treatment of adipose-derived tissue injections that will restore facial volume and eliminate wrinkles and sagginess due to age-related fat loss. Renuva is not like dermal fillers that will last just a few months and then need to be touched up. The injections are placed into wrinkles, skin imperfections, depressions, and hollows where fat loss has occurred. Renuva stimulates both collagen and fat production, and provides a scaffolding, or matrix, to support the skin’s inner structure. The matrix provides a framework for the body’s own natural fat, exactly where the patient needs it to replenish the lost volume.
