If you are bothered by the appearance of facial fine lines and wrinkles and have mild to moderate signs of skin aging, Sofwave™ may be the right treatment for you. Sofwave™ is appropriate for all skin types. This non-invasive ultrasound treatment is a great alternative for those who are not ready to undergo more aggressive procedures or plastic surgery.
Sofwave™ treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes for the full face and neck region. A topical anesthetic cream can be applied prior to treatment, and the patient may feel a warmness of the skin. No special care is required following treatment, and the patient may resume their daily activities.
Immediate results may be seen as soon as one week post treatment. Patients will continue to see improvements over three months as collagen regeneration occurs. Most patients will only need one treatment; however, some may benefit from an additional treatment, depending on their skin condition.
The Sofwave™ technology is safe and effective. Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear slightly red with limited swelling. This should resolve in a few hours.
