The LaseMD Ultra™ is a fast, efficient rejuvenation treatment that can typically be completed in about 20 minutes—making it a perfect “lunchtime” procedure. During the session, you will experience a gentle warming sensation as the laser travels across the skin. Most patients find the treatment remarkably comfortable and virtually painless. Depending on the intensity of your customized settings, you may experience a slight flush or a “sunburned” appearance for 1–3 days following the procedure. However, there is no significant downtime, and you can return to your normal routine immediately.
One of the biggest advantages of the LaseMD Ultra™ is that there is minimal “social downtime.” While your skin may look flushed or red (similar to a mild sunburn) for the first 24 to 48 hours, you can resume your normal daily activities immediately. Not at all. Most patients find the Lutronic Ultra scalp treatment very tolerable. You will feel a warm, prickly sensation, but there is no need for numbing cream or local anesthesia.
Yes! Many patients use the Lutronic Ultra to maintain their results after a transplant or to improve the health of the non-transplanted hair surrounding the graft area. (Always consult with your surgeon regarding timing post-op).
We recommend not washing your hair for 6 to 12 hours after the procedure to allow the KeraFactor serum to fully absorb into the micro-channels. After that, you can resume your normal hair care routine.
