HOW DOES ARM LIFT SURGERY WORK?
FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
You’re a good candidate for arm contouring if you have sagging skin and fat on the upper arms. This sagging may be a result of aging or of significant weight loss; whatever the reason, the ideal candidate should be a nonsmoker who is committed to continuing with a healthy lifestyle.
Patients may see their results right away, especially if sagging is particularly pronounced. Some swelling and bruising will take place over the course of a month, but by the end of this recovery period, you’ll notice sleeker, younger, and more contoured-looking arms.
The majority of the recovery period takes about four to six weeks. During the first month, you should expect to minimize your arm movement; that includes avoiding lifting anything heavier than five pounds or raising your arms. You should be cleared to return back to work within one to two weeks, depending on your job. You may be cleared by Dr. Keusch to resume normal exercise at or around the six-week mark. Throughout your arm contouring recovery, you’ll have regular check-ins with Dr. Keusch to ensure your recovery is successful.

This remains one of the most common misconceptions in cosmetic surgery. Adding volume to a…
Take a close look at the red carpet. You may notice a recurring theme among the stars: they do not look older. They don’t look “plastic” or pulled tight, either. Instead, they look incredibly refreshed. They appear as if they just returned from a month-long vacation on a serene, private island. For years, we have credited this ageless glow to…
