What Results Will I See?
Most patients can see initial results immediately after surgery, as your breasts will have an immediate uplifted look. You will be closer to your new baseline appearance within 4 to 6 weeks after surgery when the majority of swelling and bruising have gone down. Keep in mind that final results may not be visible until about 6 to 12 months after your surgery, as minor post-surgical swelling may still be present.

Most of the recovery takes place over the course of 4 to 6 weeks. During the first week, you should expect to spend plenty of time resting and recuperating at home. We recommend having a good support system in place at home, as your movements will be limited. You’ll also be required to wear a support bra to help reduce post-surgical swelling and bruising. Patients are usually cleared to return to work after one week and can resume strenuous physical activity at about the 6-week mark.
