Deciding to have surgery is a serious decision.  As surgeons, we want our patients to have the best possible outcomes based on safety protocols, reducing complications, a faster recovery and achieving expected results.  We believe patients should be thoroughly informed about their procedure to understand risks and set realistic expectations.  Every patient is different, and our doctors are committed to providing the highest standards in patient care.

Safety Protocols

Safety protocols help limit the risk of infection, which can be a serious complication.  Preventing bacteria and viruses from entering the surgical site is critical.  Dr. Keusch pays meticulous attention to detail in every procedure.  Patients can be assured they are receiving the same professional level of care and safety preparedness in an outpatient facility as those receiving care in a hospital setting.  Our anesthesiologists are Board Certified.

Patient Recovery

We have strict post-operative recovery rules for our patients in order to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.  Patients should be prepared to follow post-operative instructions to the letter.  Patients are advised to rest at home and avoid any strenuous activity immediately after surgery.  They should probably expect to arrange for added help to manage household tasks and responsibilities.  The doctors will advise on when a patient is able to resume normal activities.  Trying to do too much too soon increases a patient’s risk for bruising, swelling, discomfort, and the possibility of straining sutures and reopening wounds.
