The integrated cooling mechanism protects the upper layers of skin from damage. It takes the body 4-6 weeks to form new collagen, which helps to smooth the skin and minimize the appearance of scars.
Sofwave™ provides an option for patients who do not want to undergo more aggressive scar treatments such as microneedling, dermabrasion, or laser skin resurfacing. The Sofwave™ protocol for treating acne scars consists of three sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart. Some advantages of Sofwave™ are that it’s suitable for all skin types and skin tones, causes little to no pain, has minimal downtime, and has no serious side effects. Patients may experience a slight redness that usually subsides in a day or two.
What were the results of clinical trials?
