Ready To Say Goodbye To Cellulite Without Surgery?

What is Cellulaze?

The Cellulaze treatment is an FDA-approved minimally invasive laser procedure that reduces cellulite’s look on the body. For many patients, cellulite can be frustrating or embarrassing to cope with. Even with following the proper diet and exercise, many people still struggle with getting rid of cellulite. The Cellulaze treatment allows for individuals looking to smooth out areas with stubborn cellulite to expand their options outside of just diet and exercise.

If you are struggling with reducing cellulite on your thighs, buttocks, and other areas of your body, you may have many questions about the Cellulaze treatment. This in-depth guide will help answer many of these questions you may have.

How Does Cellulaze Work?

Cellulaze works by targeting the structure of the cellulite under your skin. This structure includes pockets of fat, rigid tissue, and thick skin that all contribute to the dimpled look of cellulite.

Instead of applying creams and gels topically to stubborn areas to help reduce cellulite appearance, this laser procedure affects the actual cellulite itself underneath the skin. A small tube (about the size of a tip of a pen) is inserted under the skin, which allows for the laser fibers in the tube to target the area.

This laser helps to stimulate collagen production in the area, therefore reducing the look of cellulite. This gives the area a smoother, more supple look. The liquified fat from the site is gently drained out as well.

What Can I Expect During My Procedure?

If this is the first time you are trying out a laser procedure, you may have some apprehension about what to expect. There are multiple things you can do before your procedure, including:

  • Stop smoking at least six weeks before your treatment to help your body have better success when healing after the procedure
  • Stop the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs such as Advil, Motrin, Aleve) as these can increase bleeding
  • Hydrate before and after any procedure or surgery to help the healing process
