Breast Reconstruction
Following removal of the breast, reconstruction can be performed to restore the breast. This procedure, most commonly performed for breast cancer patients, can be accomplished using breast implants or the natural tissues of the abdomen or other sites. These procedures may be performed at the time of mastectomy or as delayed reconstructive surgery.
